Reads claims as engineering data, not as a cost line
A manufacturer learns about a defect three ways, in order of cost: a pattern in warranty claims, a customer complaint campaign, or a recall.
Almost everyone processes claims as a cost to minimise and throws away the signal inside them. Claims sit in a finance system, coded by whoever approved the payment, and nobody reads them as engineering data — even though they are the only feedback loop reporting what actually happens to a product in the field.
The pattern is never in the total. It is in the intersections. A failure mode concentrated in one production batch is a manufacturing problem. The same failure across all batches but only in hot climates is a design problem. Concentrated in one installer, it is a training problem. Failures clustering just before warranty expiry is a durability problem; clustering just after is a different conversation entirely.
This agent reads claims across those dimensions, separates the causes, projects exposure across units still in warranty, and says how confident each finding is. Timing is the whole value: a defect found early is a production fix, and found late it is a field campaign across everything sold since.
It makes no safety determination and never decides whether to recall.
Rather than at field campaign cost.
A design change will not fix a batch problem.
It is the only real field feedback you get.
Concentrated in one batch is a process problem. Across all batches in one climate is a design problem. Same failure, opposite fixes.
Clustering just before warranty expiry is durability. Just after is a conversation you will have anyway, without the claims.
A failure concentrated in one dealer's work is training, not engineering. The total never shows it.
What the pattern implies for units still in warranty, and what that costs if nothing changes.
Three claims is not a pattern, and the report says so rather than promoting it.
It escalates a safety signal immediately and makes no safety determination of any kind.
Why Manufacturing in particular. The pattern is never in the total — it is in the intersections. Concentrated in a batch is manufacturing; spread across batches but concentrated in heat is design. Same failure, opposite fixes.
Runs unattended
Started by you or by an event, and it finishes on its own. Nothing waits for someone to be at a desk.
The same standard every time
The two-hundredth item is held to the bar the first one was. Consistency is the part people cannot sustain.
It cannot act on its own
Warranty Claim Analyst has no path to sending, spending or committing. That limit is why its output is safe to act on.
This agent runs server-side through the PROMIVO runtime. Each run is logged step by step and every tool call is permission-checked before it executes.
Read-only by design. This agent has no path to sending, spending, publishing or committing anything. Where that limit is the product, removing it would remove the reason to trust the output.

No, and it must not. A recall is a safety, legal and regulatory decision. Where a pattern suggests a safety issue it stops and escalates immediately, without characterising the risk.
No. It never touches an individual claim. It reads the population for patterns.
It reports confidence per pattern and says when a cluster is too small to conclude anything. A three-claim pattern presented as a finding is how expensive false alarms start.
