Overview
Generic contract AI tells you a liability clause is uncapped. Your legal team already knew. What they need is whether this draft deviates from the positions your company actually takes — the cap you accept, the indemnity you never give, the notice period you always negotiate.
This agent reads those positions from your knowledge base: your playbook, your standard terms, your previously negotiated contracts. Then it reviews the incoming draft clause by clause and reports every deviation with three things — the clause as written, the position it departs from, and the fallback wording your playbook allows.
It does not give legal advice and does not approve anything. Where a clause is unusual, ambiguous, or absent from the playbook, it says so and routes it to a lawyer rather than inventing a position. The output turns a three-hour first pass into a twenty-minute one.

FAQ
Is this legal advice?
No. It compares a draft against positions your organisation wrote down, and reports the differences. It does not interpret law, assess enforceability, or advise on risk. Every output says so, and a qualified lawyer must review the result.
What if we do not have a playbook?
Then it has nothing to review against, and it will say so rather than substituting generic opinion. Most teams find their positions already exist across past contracts and internal memos — load those into the knowledge base and the agent will use them.
Can it negotiate or send redlines?
No. It has no ability to send anything at all. It produces proposed wording for a person to accept, change, or discard.
Where does our contract data go?
Into your own knowledge base, readable only by you and the people you share it with. Retrieval is permission-scoped: the agent cannot surface a document the person asking could not open themselves.
