Overview
Page monitors diff HTML, so a rotating banner or a rebuilt component reads as a change. The alerts arrive constantly, mean nothing, and get muted — after which the tool is worse than nothing, because everyone believes they are being watched and nobody is reading.
This watches for the things you named: a price, a plan, a headline claim, a policy clause, a feature list. It reports what changed, from what to what, and how much — and stays silent about everything else, which is most of what happens on a page.
When a page changes shape so the thing you track can no longer be found, it says the value could not be verified rather than reporting it as removed. That distinction is the whole difference between a monitor you trust and one you mute: a redesign is not a price cut, and a tool that cannot tell them apart will eventually tell you a competitor went free.

FAQ
Will it flood me with alerts?
No, and that is the design. It watches the values you named and stays silent otherwise. A monitor that reports every HTML difference gets muted, and a muted monitor is worse than none.
Can it watch any page?
It reads what a site permits to be read. Where a page is behind a login or disallowed, it says so rather than working around it — a monitor that gets your IP blocked stops monitoring.
Does it send the alerts?
No. It produces the report. What you do with a competitor's price change is a commercial decision.
